On your visit to South Wales, The Beach House offers an ideal place to stay, whatever the occasion.

While you are staying with us, we make it our business to make your visit a success. If you need any information about the locality or the region, we are only to happy to oblige.

The panoramic views across the sea to the coast of Somerset and Devon, means that The Beach House  is the ideal place in which to begin and end your day while you are visiting South Wales.

If being beside the seaside is what brightens up your day then The Beach House is the perfect starting point for exploring the Glamorgan  Heritage Coastline.  Just a couple of miles along the coast, the UK's oldest (and newsest) dinosaur was discovered in March 2014.  At 200 million years old, the fossils relating to this Tyrannosaurus Rex relative can now be seen at the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff.

There are a wealth of tourist, cultural and sporting events taking place across South Wales.

If you're taking in a show at the Wales Millennium Centre - The Curious Incident of the Dog, Shrek the Musical, Die Walkerie, The Jersey Boys, Barnum, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - this again is within easy access of the hotel.

If you're in need of some 'Retail Therapy' then Cardiff City Centre is one of the best in the UK with most of the big brands having a presence.  An important part of the Cardiff shopping experience are its network of Victorian arcades with a range of independent businesses.

A trip to the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff's Civic Centre will be sure to make a lasting impression.  The museum hosts a fine art collection which includes a number of notable Welsh Artists and one of the best Impressionist art collections anywhere.  The Museum also hosts the prestigious biennial Artes Mundi art competition.  Just around the corner from the museum is the historic Cardiff Castle, which dates back to Norman times.

Interested in the social history of Wales?  A visit to St Fagans National History Museum is an absolute must.  A short trip on the A4232 and you can wander to your heart's content in 100 acres of parkland.

The Rugby World Cup takes place in the Autumn of 2015 and the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff will be hosting a number of matches.  The Stadium is just a ten minute drive from the hotel.

There are countless other places to visit, events and entertainments that take place across South Wales.  Just speak with any of our staff for further information.
